Red & Black Wedding Album: Maine Wedding Photographer
It is that time of year where I get to work on one of my favorite parts of a wedding. I get to go back and choose the images that will best represent the wedding story in the album. I love designing albums its so exciting when it comes in to see that final product and the images in print. As I finish albums this year I think I will share them on my blog, and possibly even (for any photographer out there who follow me) share some of my process and tips. Let me just say how excited I am to finally be able to use my album design software on my mac! Lumapix Foto Fusion is finally not just for the PC! This wedding was a black and red wedding and it was a blast…enjoy!

Pinterest Wedding Inspiration: Maine Wedding Photographer
So I have to admit I have a bit of a pinteresting problem. I am pinterest addicted. I love that I can organize my inspirations and keep all of my visual thoughts for things in one place. I particularly like being able to share the boards with clients to communicate about shoots. It helps them understand what kind of direction my crazy mind is taking a shoot. I am a google reader so it is fun to be able to see all of the style me pretty images end up on an inspiration board and to be able to select what kinds of images really push my buttons and make me tick. For those of you who don’t pinterest if you want to start it is very easy–you just sign up and then log in–once you do this just drag the pinning button to the top of your browser (they have instructions on the site) and then as you surf the internet you can just click that button when there is something you want to bookmark. Beware though if you are as image crazed as I am it can become an addiction :) I just wanted to take a couple minutes to show you some of my wedding boards. Just click on wedding boards and you will be directed to my pinterest site.

Vintage Engagement: Maine Wedding Photographer
Erin and Chad…
Erin lived in Chicago and Chad in Maine. Chad knew one of Erin’s brothers. One evening while visiting and spending time with her brothers she wound up meeting Chad. They say love finds you when you least expect it. Since then they have become a pretty perfect pair. It’s like he just knows her well enough for him to give her everything she needs in a husband and she just completes him. When Chad proposed he did it first thing in the morning because he knew Erin would know something was going on…so why not start the day perfectly. I believe their adorable Crosby pup was in on the breakfast proposal as well. We did a little bit of a vintage feel for the engagement photos. Inspired by pinterest and Crosby the boxer. I am excited to be capturing their wedding day this June at The Colony in Kennebunkport.

October Wedding in Portland, ME: Maine Wedding Photographer
Shar & Eric were so much fun to work with! Eric likes Star Wars so we got along and Shar is an amazing woman. They finally tied the knot at the First Parish Unitarian Church in Portland Maine. The reception was at the Mariners Church & Banquet Center, and she got ready at the Regency Hotel. She had a Bridesman who has been one of her best friends for year. The friends and family were all very close, and are looking forward to seeing each other again at several of the bridal party’s upcoming destination weddings. The reception was so much fun–everyone was on the dance floor–it was such a wonderful day. Very best wishes Shar & Eric :)
