Q & A

post wedding shoot 1. Why is it highly recommended to meet with potential photographers?
It important that you enjoy your wedding photographer’s personality and feel comfortable with them take part in the special events of your day. After all your wedding photographer often spends a whole day with you–so you want to be very comfortable with them.

2. If I (the wedding photographer) gets sick, do I (the photographer) have a back up plan?
I maintain a close network of equally talented photographers in case an unforeseen emergency were to occur.

3. How many images do I (the photographer) take? Do you (the client) get them all?
The amount of images I take varies from wedding to wedding, generally shooting 800-1,000 images. All of the final images have been lightly touched up (exposure, cropping, etc) and you receive a CD with all of these images.

4. What If I Want A Second Shooter?
I have a number of very talented second shooters that are available for hire. Please see my rates for additional services.

5. Editing…
I will basically touch up all final proofs. I do do a lot of Black and White and Sepia tones. The album proofs are even further retouched.

6. How much input does the bride get in the album and on the wedding day?
It is the brides day so I am willing to accommodate her in any way possible. However, I do recommend putting faith in me, the photographer for suggestions of locations and poses. Trust that I will do an excellent job documenting your day. As far as guests and family photos I will take any photo you ask for that day. The bride gets on album revision where she can tell me what she would like changed about her book.

7. What is your style?
Although I will shoot family formals and bridal party formals, I am not a traditional photographer.   I shoot in a creative style capturing real moments.  There is emotion, connections, and passion in my photographs.  They are timeless and will enable you to remember those moments forever.  I use a lot of black and white for these images because it helps focus on the expressions and events in the photo.

8. What are my albums like?
My albums are layflat.  They are designed by me in house.  They have a variety of finishes, textures and covers.  They are available in many sizes, and vary in page count.  They are hand printed in Italy.

9. What do you wear to the wedding?
I generally wear an all black dress or black pant suit.

10. How do the family pictures work?
I begin with the largest group right after the wedding and then I begin breaking it down to smaller and smaller groups. It takes 15-20 minutes.
